i'm still suspicious of siobhan.

yeah I'm suspicious of her too. Like I mean I think she'll go and tell Lee not to be mean or anything but to be helpful. But you never know.

It was early the next morning and we were finally at the hotel. We had a show later tonight then we were heading up to Cananda for a show in Toronto, but before that we had a off day. It was going to be nice to have a day off, eventhough I would be meeting with my record company to go over a bunch of stuff for my album.

When we got to the hotel I told Katie that I would meet her in the room. She was half asleep and I still had to get all my stuff together. The only problem was that I forgot my key and when I banged on the door for five minutes, nobody answered. Katie was a really heavy sleeper, so I was locked out of my room.

I walked down the hall to Lee and Andrew's room and knocked on their door. The door opened a few minutes later and Lee stood on the other side.

"Why the hell are you not sleeping? We have another four hours before we have to be up." Lee mumbled.

"I'm locked out of my room and have nowhere to go. Can I crash here for those four hours?" I asked, giving him a small smile.

"Yeah." He nodded.

Lee opened the door and grabbed my bag from me as I walked in. I immediately noticed that Andrew wasn't around and I suddenly felt a bit awkward. Maybe coming here wasn't such a good idea. Maybe I could go and stay with Siobhan and Didi, eventho Didi is probably up and doing her annoying vocal warm ups.

"Where is Andrew?" I asked.

"He decided to go with Mike to the gym." Lee said as he walked back over to his bed and laid down.

"Andrew working out with Mike?" I laughed softly.

"Yeah." Lee grinned, sliding over and pulling the covers back on his bed, "Come here."

"I can lay on Andrew's bed or on the floor of something. You don't have to share a bed with me." I told him.

"I wanna. I need a cuddle buddy." He grinned.

I rolled my eyes acting as if I was annoyed by the fact that he wanted to cuddle. Inside I was jumping up and down, squealing like a little kid.

I walked over to his bed and climbed into the empty side. He pulled the covers up over us and I felt him turn so that his chest was pressed against my back. I smiled to myself as I felt his strong arm wrap around my waist and pull me closer to him. I ran my fingers up and down his arm.

"I usually sleep naked, but since you are here I will be a gentleman and keep my pants on." He teased me.

"You're so werid." I laughed.

"I'm kidding. I'm more of a boxer brief sleeping guy."

I turned my head and looked at him as he smiled at me.

"Shut up." I laughed, as I traced the outline of his tattoo on his forearm with my finger.

I turned in his arms so that my chest was pressed against his. I buried my face in the crook of his neck.

I honestly don't know where all this touching and flirting was coming from, but I wasn't about to stop it. It felt so right being in his arms and I didn't want this to end. I mean we flirt all the time, but never like this. Maybe everyone was right and maybe there was something there. Lee could finally act upon it if he did have any feelings cause Ashley was gone.

"Wanna forget about sleep and make out?" Lee asked.

"You don't just ask somebody to make out." I laughed as I looked up at him.

"I wanna make sure we are on the same page." Lee shrugged, "Let's make out. Better I phrased it as a statement."

I laughed and reached up, running my hands through his thick messy brown hair. He closed his eyes and leaned foreward pressing his full lips against mine.I closed my eyes and kissed him back as I molded myself into his body as he deepened the kiss. He slid his hand up my tank top and I pulled away quickly.

"Is everything alright?" He asked, looking concerned.

"I'm not having sex with you." I told him.

"What?" He asked, giving me a strange look.

"I don't think we should be doing this."

"You are honestly giving me some mixed signals here Maris! You're all over me and then when I make a move you freak out. What the hell?" Lee said, obviously getting frusterated with the situation.

"I was caught up in the moment." I said, quietly.

"Don't come in here and lay with me in my bed and make all these moves on me, just to freak out!" Lee said, as he sat up. "I'm going to be taking a lot of cold showers with you around. You need to figure out what the hell you want and then come to me when you figure that out."

"Lee." I sighed.

"No. I'm only human and I can only take so much. You're playing games and it's not cool. Don't come onto me if you don't want me to act upon it." Lee said, running his hands through his hair and staring at me, "You're confused and have no clue what the hell you want."

"Why are you getting pissed off at me because I don't wanna do this? I'm sorry I'm not a slut like the girls you usually are with! I owe you nothing. You're not my boyfriend, so why should I give you anything?"

"Don't even." Lee said, "You know I would never pressure you into doing anything you don't wanna do, but you are teasing right now."

"You're a typical guy. You get pissed off cause you aren't getting any. Go get some ass from one of your groupies!" I said.

"You're crazy! You have some serious problems!"

If only he knew where all of this was coming from.

I broke down and started crying as flasbacks of Joey came rushing back to me. This was the same argument that we have had before the hitting started. What makes this worse is I would never expect Lee to get angry over this and the face that he isn't even my boyfriend and getting angry about it is even more crazy.

"Why are you crying?" Lee placed his hand on my back, "Are you on your period or something?"

"This was a mistake! I need to just go." I said, climbing out of his bed.

"Where are you going?" Lee asked.

"Just somewhere." I muttered.

"I'm sorry." He apologized, giving me a desperate look.

I stormed out of his room and slammed the door on the way out.

Things took a turn for the worst.

"Guys, we have to head in for meet and greet now!"

I glanced up as I heard our tour manager yell to us all. We were all scattered around outside the arena, signing autographs and meeting with the fans. It was one of my favorite things about being on tour. This is the least we could do for them since they got us here in the first place. It was awesome to meet them.

"I'll try and come back out before the show to finish up and if I don't get a chance too, we will be signing after the show." I said, as I handed a permanent marker and picture back to a teenage girl, "It was awesome meeting you guys! Thanks for all the support and enjoy the show tonight!"

"Can I just get a quick hug?" One of the teenage girls asked.

"Sure!" I smiled and reached over the barricade and hugged her, "Have fun tonight!"

"Damaris, get your butt inside now!" Mike teased as he walked past me.

"Bye guys!" I smiled.

I quickly walked off and met up with Didi and Katie who were talking to one another about God only knows what.

"Are you and Lee fighting?" Didi asked me.

"No, why?" I asked.

"You guys haven't talked all day and it seems like you are avoiding one another." Katie shrugged.

"Nope. We're fine." I lied.

I haven't talked to Lee since I stormed out of the room earlier this morning. I was angry with him and I think I had a right to be. He was being a horny man and got pissed off cause I wouldn't go any further with him. I understand that he has needs too, but nobody ever said he had to wait around for me. Maybe I did lead him on, but I didn't intend to do that.

Joey screwed up my mind real bad. I didn't have any desire to have sex with any guys, not until I was in a commited relationship with somebody I love and trust. Somebody who I know won't hurt me in the long run and somebody who I know it will be special with. I'm not about to hop into bed with my best friend and have sex with him because he wanted a booty call. I like Lee, a lot and would love to be his girlfriend, but I am not ready for sex with him.

"You seem a million miles away, you alright?" Katie asked me.

"Yep. Just tired." I lied.

"Maris!" I heard Lee yell as we entered the arena.

I looked away from Katie and saw Lee making his way over to me. I rolled my eyes and stopped walking as he approached us.

"Can I have a second to talk with you?" Lee asked, grabbing my upper arm lightly.

"Sure." I muttered, "I'll meet you girls in the meet and greet."

"Okay! Let's go love!" Didi said, grabbing Katie's hand and dragging her down the hallway.

"I really wanted to apologize for earlier. I should have never freaked out like that, but you gotta see where I am coming from in this situation. I can only take so much." Lee sighed, running his hand through his hair.

"You were a jerk." I crossed my arms over my chest, "I didn't appreciate the whole screaming at me and calling me crazy."

"I know. That was wrong of me to say." Lee bit his bottom lip and looked down at me, "Siobhan told me everything that happened and I am so sorry about that."

"What the hell are you talking about?" I questioned.

"Everything with you ex and if I ever run into that sleaze bag I will have his ass beaten so fast."

"She was never supposed to say anything to anybody about this! That was my past and I don't want everyone knowing. I'm going to kill her!" I snapped.

"She only told me and that was because I was angry about earlier. She did it to try and help me understand why you just pulled away from me." Lee defended her.

"That is a big secret to blurt out." I choked back tears, "I'm fine now and don't need this brought up constantly. It's old news and I don't want to live in the past. I told her because I thought she could keep a secret, but obviously I was wrong about that. How could she do this?"

"How come you never told me, Maris?" Lee asked quietly, as he grabbed my hand.

"It's not important."

"It obviously is if you are getting this upset over it. I understand why you acted that way earlier, you're scared that I am going to do what he did to you. Aren't you?" Lee questioned and I just looked back at him, "Aren't you? Maris, you don't have to hide this shit from me."

"I am." I squeaked out, "I lived in fear of him for so long and then this morning when you got so upset about me cooling things down I got flashbacks of what he used to do to me. I got scared and I am much better then I was before, but there is always going to be that little bit of fear."

"I will never hurt you like that, ever! What he did to you is disgusting and it makes me sick to my stomach that any guy could touch a girl like that. If I ever see that piece of crap I will make sure that he won't walk for the rest of his life." Lee said, shaking his head in disgust, "Nobody deserves that, especially you."

"I don't wanna talk about this now." I said.

"Are you alright though?" Lee asked.

"Yes." I nodded.

Lee wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. I wrapped my arms around his waist and rested my head against his broad chest.

"Friends again?" I asked.

"We never weren't." Lee assured me, hugging me tighter.

I looked up at him and gave him a small smile as he smiled back at me. He reached up and brushed back a piece of hair out of my face and leaned down, brushing his lips lightly against mine. I kissed back and slid my hands up his arms and around his neck. I placed my hand on the back of his neck, gently rubbing it.

It was the complete opposite of the kiss this morning. This kiss had passion and we were groping eachother in bed. There seemed to be some sort of connection with this kiss. It wasn't just a kiss to kiss, there was something behind it. That spark that people talk about.

"Let's go before someone comes and finds us." Lee said, pulling back briefly and resting his forehead against mine.

"Let's." I nodded.

He gave me one last quick kiss and I pulled away from him and smiled.

I was honestly confused on where we stood. Nothing was official between us, but it was almost like he was my boyfriend. I hope he someday gets the balls to ask to me be his girlfriend.

We headed into the room where everyone was already sitting at the long table, with their markers. Lee placed his hand on the small of my back and guided me over to the empty chair between Siobhan and I guess where he was going to be sitting. I rolled my eyes.

"Will you switch with me?" I asked quietly.

"I could do that." He nodded.

"Thanks." I grinned.

I sat down in the empty chair between Lee and Katie and picked up my marker that was rested on the table.

I wasn't in the mood to be near Siobhan right now. The fact that she went and told Lee everything that happened when she promised to keep it a secret, that pissed me off. Lee handled it really well, but if that was besides the point. I didn't want everyone to know about it. I didn't want to be the charity case. Last time I trust that girl.

"Everything okay?" Katie asked and nodded her head in Lee's direction.

"Yeah, we are cool." I smiled.

"Good." She smiled.

Siobhan and me on the other hand had some talking to do.

"Siobhan, can I talk to you in the hall for a minute?" I approached Siobhan, after the last group of fans exited out of the press room.

"Sure. Give me one minute."

I nodded and walked out of the press room. I headed down the hall and waited for Siobhan to arrive.

We really needed to talk and I was cooled off now and knew that I could handle a normal conversation and I knew that I wouldn't freak out on her. I was still bothered by the fact that she went behind my back and told Lee, but I would give her the opportunity to talk and give her side of the story. We could talk this out like the two adults that we are.

Siobhan came out a few moments later and walked over to me.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Why did you tell Lee everything I told you the other night?" I asked, crossing my arms across my chest and looking at her, "I told you to keep that a secret and you went and told the one person I didn't really want to know."

"Lee and you are practically a couple, why wouldn't you want him to know?" Siobhan asked.

Maybe because he would realize how much baggage I come with and wouldn't want anything to do with me anymore or maybe because sometimes he is a worry wart and I can see him making sure I was okay, constantly and that could get extremely annoying at times. He could be a bit overprotective.

"That's not important! I didn't ask you to come and talk to me to discuss that." I rolled my eyes, "I wanna know why you told him? I trusted you."

"He came to me all upset this morning because you two had gotten in a fight and he was worried because he said you just freaked out. I told him to try and get him to see where you were coming from and I know that I shouldn't have, but he was worried and upset."

"Great so he went and told you about us making out! Is anything a secret in this friggen place?" I asked.

"Lee's like a older brother to me and he talks to me about his problems. I love that guy to death and when he is upset about something then I am going to try and help." Siobhan explained.

"You can't just go around telling people that crap." I sighed.

"Maris, I don't think you understand, but that guy is head over heels for you! Even when he was with Ashley he was."

"Yeah right." I said sarcastically, "He just wants to have a good time."

"He talks about you all the time to me and is constantly asking me advice on what he should do to win you over. I don't think he realizes that he already has won you over." Siobhan started to say.

"He hasn't won me over." I lied.

"Oh please. You're not fooling anyone, Lambros!"

"It doesn't matter! That stuff doesn't mean anything." I shook my head.

"The reason I told Lee was because he was worried about you and I couldn't allow him to just be that worried. It's nothing to be embarassed by, Maris." Siobhan said quietly.

"I just don't want everyone knowing. I don't wanna be the charity case."

"I'm sorry. I should have kept my mouth shut, but he is one of my best friends and I know how much he cares for you."

"I guess I forgive you." I gave her a small smile, "If I find out you told somebody else I will never speak to you again."

"Deal." Siobhan smiled.

I reached out and gave her a hug. I felt someone come up behind me and wrap there arms around both of us, so that I was sandwiched between the both of them. I looked down and smiled when I saw Lee's tattoo clad arms around me. If Siobhan wasn't here, it would be perfect. Nothing against Siobhan.

"Group hug!" Lee said, resting his chin on the top of my head.

"Way to kill the friendly moment Sio and me were sharing!" I laughed, letting go of Siobhan.

Lee's stood behind me, his arms around my waste. I rested my back against his strong chest. He has been getting very close to me these past couple of days and I wasn't hating it. I liked flirty Lee. A little flirting never hurt anybody and we were both single. I wasn't about to jump into bed with him though and I think he knew that after this morning.

"I'm going to go and grab some food." Siobhan said.

I smiled and nodded as she walked off. I pulled out of Lee's grasp and turned around so that I was facing him. He leaned against the wall and gave me a cute smile.

"What?" I asked.

"You can't stay mad at anybody for longer then a few hours! You're way too nice!" Lee smiled.

"I hate fighting with any of you guys and I don't wanna deal with the drama! She explained herself and it's all better, but if she tells anyone else it's over!"

"Understandable." He said, reaching out and resting his hands on my hips, "Drama is stupid. Why do you think I am chill with everyone?"

"Cause you're just so loveable! Who could ever hate this face?" I smiled, reaching up and squeezing his cheeks.

"You're kinda cute too!" Lee smiled and I grinned, leaning into him as he wrapped his arm around my waist, "We have a off day tomorrow."

"I know. It's going to be nice! It's teh first day that I have free since before Idol." I told him.

"You wanna grab some dinner tomorrow night?" Lee asked.

"Are you asking me on a date?" I smiled up at him.

"Maybe." He grinned.

"I would love to go on a date with you!"

Well this day was turning around for the better!

"I don't know what to wear tonight!" I said, as I walked pulled out all my dresses from my suitcase that I packed with me.

We arrived at the hotel in Ontario about five in the morning and we immediately headed in to go back to sleep. It was now early afternoon and I was trying to decide on what to wear tonight. Getting ready for a date was a big deal, especially when I was going on a date with a guy I have been crushing hardcore on for almost a year. I wanted it to be perfect.

Didi and Katie were sitting on my bed, flipping through magazines and talking about God knows what. They were supposed to be helping me chose my outit, but they haven't really been helping.

"Guys! I need your help!" I whined.

"You need to chill out! It's just Lee, the guy will probably pop up wearing a tee-shirt, jeans, and his dirty old converse." Katie smiled and I rolled my eyes, "Why are you so nervous! It's just Lee, you guys have hung out alone a million times before this."

"Those times he had a girlfriend," I explained and sat down on the bed, "I haven't been on a date in a long time and I don't even know how to go about it."

"It's no different then when you talk to him here. Just be yourself." Didi smiled.

"He's just so cute." I smiled.

"Aw! You are so cute!" Didi laughed, "They like eachother so much and they are finally making the moves to become the cutest couple to ever walk this planet!"

"Don't go rushing into anything yet! I still need to find a cute outfit and figure out what the hell I am going to do with my hair."

"Here's the deal. I will help you get your outfit together and Didi can do your hair!" Katie said, closing her magazine and putting it down on her bed.

"You guys are the best!" I smiled.

"First where are is he taking you?"

"Some sushi restaurant. I don't think it's too fancy."

"By the time we are done with you, Lee is going to want to take you straight to the room and have his way with you." Didi smiled.

"Lee is not getting me anywhere near his bed! He isn't that cute." I teased.

"Not yet." Didi grinned and I rolled my eyes.

I stood in the bathroom a few hours later. I smoothed out my dressnervously as Didi fixed a strand of hair that had fallen out of place. I had to give Didi and Katie credit, they really came through and helped me look pretty decent for dinner. I never thought I was pretty. I always had self esteem issues, that goes back to everything with Joey. Tonight though, I felt pretty.

There was a knock on the hotel door and I looked at Didi and she smiled.

"He's here!" She grinned.

"Oh gosh! I don't know why I am so nervous." I said quietly.

"Relax." She laughed at me.

I walked out of the bathroom and smiled when I saw Lee talking to Katie. He turned around and grinned at me. He looked so cute in red button down shirt and his dark jean, that even though he wore a belt somehow manage to slip down his waist. Lee was blessed with a lot of things, but a butt definately wasn't one of them.

"Look at you! You look gorgeous." Lee smiled, as he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me.

"Thank you." I smiled, feeling my cheeks heat up.

"You ready?" Lee asked.

"Yes." I nodded.

"Have her back before midnight and don't try any funny business with her." Katie teased.

"You better bring her back in one piece." Didi added.

"Bye guys!" I laughed.

"See you later." Lee smiled.

I grabbed my purse off my bed and followed Lee out of the hotel room. Once we were in the empty hallwa, he reached back and grabbed my hand.

"So, is sushi okay with you?" Lee asked, as we stepped into the elevator.

"It's fine with me. You gotta guide me on what to get though, because I've never had sushi before."

"Alright, I got your back." He grinned and looked over at me as the elevator doors opened, "You ready for the greatest night of your life?"

"Yeah." I laughed.

"I'm really sorry about the whole you not liking sushi thing. That was a huge fail on my part." Lee said, as we sat down on a bench with the ice cream we just bought from a nearby ice cream shop.

"You don't have to apologize. I have never had it before and decided to give it a try and I realized it is more of a aquired taste." I smiled up at him.

I tried to be polite after I took the first bite, but Lee caught on and called me out on it. He kept apologizing and asking me if I wanted to leave and go somewhere else. I felt bad because he geunienely was sorry for it. It wasn't a big deal and I don't care where he took me. We were together and alone, that was all that mattered.

"Did you have a good time, even though you hated the food?" Lee grinned.

"I had a very nice night. The company was pretty nice." I told him.

"I concur." He nodded.

"So, how are you enjoying the single life?" I asked.

"I'm a relationship type of guy, so I don't really enjoy being single." Lee shrugged and looked over at me, "But I have to be in the relationship with the right girl and Ashley was definately not that girl."

"I still feel bad about how everything went down." I sighed, as I looked down at my ice cream.

"She can pull the poor me act all she wants, but she hasn't been an angel in this either. I know for a fact since I have been away she has had her fair share of guys. I have friends who have seen this crap and tell me. I don't feel bad for anything I did, because she isn't innocent."

"Well I do." I said.

"Cause you are too nice." Lee said, drapping his arm around my shoulder.

"You try and play this tough guy role, but you are a big softie! You're not fooling anybody DeWyze." I said.

"I am a tough guy." Lee smirked.

"Your tattoos and I don't give a crap attitude do not fool me." I smiled.

"I'm a nice guy. I had my punkass days in high school, but that is totally who I am not now." Lee explained, "I had my fair share of fights in high school and did the whole getting kicked out of school thing. I grew up a lot."

"You're such a badass." I teased.

"My poor parents." He laughed softly, "How about you, do you enjoy the single life?"

"I did. After everything with Joey and crap, but I am finally to the place where I wanna have a relationship with a good guy. I now realize that all guys aren't like that and there are in fact good guys out there."

"Like me?" Lee smirked.

"Exactly." I smiled and looked up at him, his face was inches from mine.

"I still wanna kick that guys ass." Lee said quietly and I gave him a small smile, "I will never hurt you. I just want you to know that."

"I do." I said.

"Do you wanna try and take things to the next level? We obviously both like eachother and I think we are in the right places right now for a relationship, well personally we are. I know it will be a lot with everything going on, but I think we can handle it." Lee rambled and I had to smile at his nervousness, it was just too cute.

"Finally!" I laughed, "I have been waiting nearly a year for you to realize that I was standing right in front of you the whole time! I thought it was a lost cause."

"I was stupid and oblivious."

"It's okay you came around!" I grinned and rested my forehead against his, "We're official?"

"If you want to be." Lee said.

"I'd love too be!"

"Good. This date has been a success then!"

"Shut up and kiss me." I placed my hand on the back of his head and pulled him closer to me.

He pressed his lips against mine and I felt his arm go around me as I deepened the kiss.

I'm sure we were probably getting disgusted looks from the people passing by, but at this moment in time I didn't really care. Lee was finally mine and I didn't care who knows.
